Third Party Consultations

Worker’s Compensation and Third Party consultations include assessment, diagnosis and management of work-related injury or illness.

Our services include:

Triage of injuries

Managing work-related illness or injury

Assessment of work capacity

WorkCover Certificates

Communication with the Employer, Insurance Companies, Case Managers and Rehabilitation providers

An aim to assist the employee’s recovery to return to pre-injury duties in the shortest timeframe possible

Worker’s Compensation Consultations

Worker’s Compensation consultations are billed at WorkCover approved rates.

These consultations will be billed directly to your insurance company if they have accepted liability and you can provide all billing details (including approval number and name of insurance company) at the time of consultation.

If you do not have a claim number, you will be charged at AMA rates and may be able to claim the cost of the consultation from your employer.

Please identify at the time of appointment that you require a ‘Workers Compensation’ or ‘Third Party’ appointment.

Please note that ‘there is no Medicare rebate’ for Worker’s Compensation or Third Party consultations.
